Woman cuts off her ex-hubby's girlfriend's ear in Bayelsa, family of side chic retaliate by cutting off her own ear

Two women had their ears cut off last week during an attack. According to reports, one Glory, married to a man named Godspower Ben from Bayelsa state, got separated from her and started dating another lady called Bridget. Suspecting that they were planning on getting married, Glory stormed Bridget's home on Wednesday, September 27th and during their fight, she cut off Bridget's ear. Bridget's family members held her down and also cut off her ear. Both women were taken to the hospital and are currently receiving medical attention.

Exiled Mnangagwa To Return Home As Mugabe Resigns

The former vice president of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa has been asked to return home from exile.  His personal assistant Larry Mavhima disclosed this, adding that Comrade Mnangagwa will on Wednesday return home after staying in exile for more than two weeks. Mnangagwa fled the country following his ouster by ex-president Robert Mugabe about three weeks ago. President Robert Mugabe resigned as Zimbabwe President on Tuesday after much pressure by the country’s army and the plot by the parliament to impeach him.

A mother who drowned during floods in Texas has been identified as Collette Sulcer. The 41-year-old was swept away by the strong currents in the Texas floods while trying to carry her daughter Jordyn to safety.  Rescuers found little Jordyn alive, clinging to her mother's lifeless body. According to reports, the tragedy happened when the 41-year-old got stuck in Beaumont as she tried to flee rising waters in her car caused by Tropical Storm Harvey. Police said Collette tried desperately to keep her daughter’s head above water. When she was found half a mile away from the scene, Jordyn was still clinging to her mother's floating body. Carol Riley, a spokesperson for the Beaumont Police Department, said she ‘absolutely saved the child’s life’. She said: ‘They were in the water for quite some time.
