Ati Annang Foundation (AAF)2017/2018 Scholarship Application is Out

Important Information

  1. By completing and submitting the AAF Scholarship Form, candidate has given his or her consent to the Scholarship Project Committee to verify all information provided in the form including school enrolment and academic performance from his or her Dean and/or Head of Department. Furthermore, such candidate has consented to the verification of his or her Ward/Village/Local Government Area of Origin. False information will render the application invalid!
  2. Information provided will be kept confidential and cannot be disclosed to any external agencies without prior consent of applicants.
  3. Every part of the form must be completed.
  4. Beneficiaries must be studying in accredited higher institutions of learning e.g. Universities, Polytechnics, Schools of Nursing and Colleges of Education in Nigeria.
  5. The deadline for submission of application form is midnight 30/11/2017. Application received after this deadline will not be considered.

250 passengers to Ghana escape death on Delta Airline

No fewer than 250 passengers and crew members escaped death by the whiskers on Monday  evening after a fire broke out in the wheel well of a Delta Airliner leaving from JFK International Airport for Accra, Ghana. The passengers were evacuated from the Flight 420 which takeoff was aborted after observing an issue with the airspeed indicator, causing the brakes to overheat and ignite the gear, The New York Post reports. In total, 258 people — 250 passengers, 8 crew members were evacuated via mobile stairs. A fire unit from the Port Authority Police soon responded to the scene to extinguish the fire, the Port Authority PBA confirmed on Twitter. The same Twitter account also shared footage of what was described as a fire breaking out in the wheel well of the same aircraft a bit earier.
