College Of Education Staff Ikere-Ekiti Stage Protest, Accuse School Management Of Corruption


Members of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) of the college of Education Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti state on Tuesday began a seven-day protest to demand the payment of their unremitted salary deductions by the school management led by Mojisola Onyarekhua.
The workers, who barricaded the entrance of the institution, were asking the school management to immediately pay the outstanding three months deductions or risk an indefinite strike by the union.
The school authority led by the chairman of the governing council who addressed the protesting workers pleaded for more time to sort out their grievances.
