Do You Think NYSC Encourage/Motivate Youths Or Endanger Their Lives?

Alot has been said about this scheme recently and the organization has recorded more sad news than good recently, and a lot of people have criticized this scheme.

It was recently reported that a Policeman killed a corp member in Abuja. Als​​o, recall that it was also reported that a corp member died in camp​ ​in April 2018 to mention but a few.

Another thing is, some Nigerians youths still have the dream of going for this scheme and they still believe so much in it. I have been part of those​ ​clamoring for it, now that I am privilege to be a corp member, I can say it authoritatively that there’s nothing special about it.

In my opinion, NYSC should be scrapped and every fresh Nigerian graduates should be given the ₦237,600, let’s start something with the money I believe 20% to 40% of the corp member will do something Tangible with the money.

EFCC arrests Governor Dickson’s ex-aide for offering N10m bribe to EFCC official

A former Senior Special Assistant on Media to Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The suspect, Abnedgo Don- Evarada, was arrested on Monday in Port- Harcourt, Rivers State for allegedly offering a bribe of N10million (Ten Million Naira) to the EFCC’s Zonal Head in Port- Harcourt, Mr Ishaq Salihu. Don-Evarada ran into trouble when he approached Salihu, over a case involving the Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa’s state governor on Millennium Development Goals, Apere Embelakpo and his wife, Fiene Beauty. Embelakpo is being investigated for alleged diversion of N800million (Eight Hundred Million Naira only), being funds meant for the Millennium Development Goals, MDG, while his wife is being investigated for alleged money laundering, forgery and suspicious transactions to the tune of N200million (Two Hundred Million Naira only). Finally the awaiting matriculation date has been released. (Niger Delta University)

The 15th matriculation ceremony for the 2016/2017 academic session has been scheduled to hold on  Saturday, July 8th 2017   at the  Niger Delta University Gloryland Main Campus Auditorium . The procedures for the 15th matriculation ceremony are as follows; All Matriculants are expected to pay the sum of three thousand naira (#3,000)  cash only to the Bursar's Representative at the various faculties. All Matriculants are required to present payment receipt to their respective Faculty officers before collection of Academic gowns/Anthems CD All Matriculants are expected to be seated according to their faculties in the Gloryland Main Campus Auditorium by 08:00 AM Academic Processions is due to commence by 08:45 AM - All Deans/Heads of Departments are required to meet at the ETF Building by 08:30 am
